Guangdong Xinxing Huineng Primary School: Teaching & Noon-Rest Buildings

Through testing and research, the project solved key technical challenges of prefab structures and innovatively proposed cold-extruded rebar coupler joints and construction techniques that can, to a degree, replace fully cast-in-situ joints — with mechanical and seismic performance meeting national codes and design requirements. While meeting a tight schedule, it effectively raised construction quality and saved cost, with significant economic and social benefits. The project won Guangdong's 'Zhan Tianyou Hometown Cup' for civil engineering.
