Notice on Implementing the Beijing Local Standard “Standard for Information Model Delivery of Civil Buildings”

To all relevant organizations:

In order to give full play to the role of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in information sharing and as a carrier throughout the entire construction life cycle, and to standardize the delivery of digital deliverables at the survey, design, construction, completion and O&M readiness stages, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources, together with the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, has organized the formulation of the Beijing local standard “Standard for Information Model Delivery of Civil Buildings” (DB11/T 1069-2024), which has been jointly issued with the Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:    

The “Standard for Information Model Delivery of Civil Buildings” (DB11/T 1069-2024) shall be implemented from October 1, 2024. From the date of implementation, all organizations shall carefully follow this standard in the delivery of building information model deliverables at the survey, design, construction, completion and O&M readiness stages of newly built, renovated and expanded civil building projects in Beijing.

This standard is administered by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources, and is jointly organized and implemented by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources and the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

It is hereby notified.
