— was held in Chengdu
Industry experts, representatives of construction enterprises, and
more than 300 attendees gathered together
to jointly explore the new future vision of smart construction
and conducted an on-site observation of the
Sichuan Provincial Party School (East Campus) Project constructed by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau

data-driven management, digital design,
smart construction equipment, smart production,
“Good Housing”, and smart construction —6 major exhibition zones in total
comprehensively demonstrating the innovative technological application of smart construction in
quality and safety management effectiveness
The Digital Design Zone relies on BIM and digital twin technologies
to carry out detailed design across multiple fields such as curtain walls and steel structures
The Data-Driven Construction Management Zone uses IoT, AI, and big data
to achieve safety monitoring and resource optimization
and leverages the internet to monitor construction scenarios in real time

The smart safety helmet offers a 900-day battery life
the 34-gram tag is worn imperceptibly
combined with AI to automatically identify workers' unsafe behaviors
the unmanned weighbridge enables fully automated management of material weighing and recording
ensuring the precision and transparency of material control
and improving operational collaboration efficiency and safety assurance levels
The Smart Construction Equipment Zone provides key support for
improving quality and efficiency in building construction
The industrialized building-climbing machine requires only 10 minutes to jack up a single floor
shortening the construction period compared with the traditional external scaffolding method by 90%
The unmanned construction hoist enables precise personnel control
and can compress the idle-load rate to below 5%
substantially improving single-day transportation efficiency
and can reduce management personnel input by 50%

Independently developed by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau,
the Tower Crane Intelligent Centralized Control System
reduces the safety risks of working at height by 80% or more
improves human-machine work efficiency by 30%
and saves labor attendance by 30%
The Smart Production Zone showcases
automated production lines and intelligent management systems
while the “Good Housing” Zone presents
the synergy of innovative materials, smart equipment, and green construction methods
comprehensively embodying high-quality solutions spanning from construction to O&M

Jointly hosted by the Hubei Provincial Highway Society and
China Construction Third Engineering Bureau,
the 2025 Bridge Smart Construction Technology Exchange
and the Wuhan North Sixth Ring Road Project On-Site Observation Meeting
was held in Wuhan
Over 150 experts and scholars from industry societies and competent authorities,
as well as universities, research institutes, and construction enterprises,
centering on the application of bridge smart construction equipment,
the industrialized production of components,
and digital and intelligent management,
held in-depth exchanges and discussions

The cantilever-cast box girder construction of the project's Sheshui River Extra-Large Bridge
used China Construction Third Engineering Bureau's independently developed
Self-Balancing Cantilever Bridge-Building Machine
Integrating IoT, sensors, and BIM technology,
it performs real-time monitoring of stress, displacement, and temperature and other key data
effectively solving the problems of conventional form travelers, such as low bearing capacity,
poor anti-overturning stability, and low traveling efficiency
and significantly improving the
safety and precision of bridge cantilever casting construction

The project innovatively adopted the steel cofferdam pilot-hole drilling method
Relying on the BIM+GIS platform,
the technical team independently developed a stress monitoring system
to implement 24-hour dynamic monitoring of the cofferdam structure
and established a whole-process construction safety early-warning mechanism
achieving visualized and integrated control of steel cofferdam construction
while ensuring construction safety and improving overall work efficiency

deeply integrates information technology
to build an
integrated control platform covering
safety, quality, and production
breaking down data barriers across business segments
and improving management collaboration efficiency
With the help of sensors,
the spatial posture of the bridge-building machine and the load-bearing state of the supporting structure
are monitored and dynamically adjusted in real time
achieving full-line visualization of construction progress
and efficient resource dispatching
