Co-Creating a New Era of Smart Buildings - The Shenzhen Branch of Shanghai Zhuwei Architectural Technology Co., Ltd. Officially Becomes a Member of the Shenzhen BIM Promotion Association

Following the Shanghai company becoming a member of the “Shanghai Building Information Modeling Technology Association”, recently, the Shenzhen branch of Shanghai Zhuwei Architectural Technology Co., Ltd. officially became a member of the Shenzhen Building Information Model Industry Innovation and Development Association (abbreviated as the “Shenzhen BIM Association”).
         

The Shenzhen BIM Association is an industry-based, non-profit social organization jointly founded by many leading enterprises nationwide engaged in BIM technology research, development, and application, smart city construction, and other fields. Since its official establishment in 2020, under the guidance and supervision of the Shenzhen Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau, the association has continuously promoted the construction of a new system for the development of the modern construction industry. It is committed to the integrated application of modern information technologies such as BIM, CIM, big data, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence, promoting quality and efficiency improvement in engineering construction as well as the innovative, healthy, and sustainable development of the industry.

The Shenzhen BIM Association currently has 186 member units, covering the entire construction engineering field and related industries, including development, planning, survey, design, construction, production, construction cost, supervision, O&M, consulting, R&D, and education and training. The association plays an active role in bridging government and enterprises, voicing demands, offering advice, serving the industry, and promoting self-discipline, while also making unremitting efforts in advancing academia, improving technology, formulating standards, conducting evaluations and reviews, expanding the workforce, driving development, and building platforms.

Zhuwei Architectural Technology has carried out a large number of BIM consulting projects in the Yangtze River Delta region and across the country since its establishment five years ago, covering building types such as residential, commercial, office, schools, hospitals, and large commercial complexes. Its core designers repeatedly won first, second, and third prizes in the “Zhangjiang Guoxin'an Cup BIM Modeling Competition” from 2022 to 2024. Its consulting projects won the second prize in the “9th Jiangsu Province Survey and Design Industry Information Model (BIM) Application Competition” in 2022, the “Shanghai 5th BIM Technology Application Innovation Competition Project Case Award - Building Construction Category Third Prize” in 2023, the “Shanghai 6th BIM Technology Application Innovation Competition Project Case Award - Building Construction Category Third Prize” in 2024, and the 13th “Longtu Cup” National BIM (Building Information Model) Competition  Design Group Third Prize.

This time, in joining the Shenzhen BIM Association, we have come to learn from the fellow colleagues of the Shenzhen BIM Association, and it is also an important step forward, a step of growth, for Zhuwei Architectural Technology in the field of BIM technology application. As a new member of the Shenzhen BIM Association, Zhuwei Architectural Technology will make full use of this platform's advantages and, together with other member units in the Association, strengthen learning, communication, and cooperation, jointly explore the application scenarios and solutions of BIM technology across the entire building lifecycle, jointly promote the wide application and development of BIM technology in the construction industry, and contribute to Shenzhen and even the Greater Bay Area's digital construction of buildings and cities.
