In order to implement the relevant national and autonomous region policies on the informatization of the construction industry and the application of BIM technology, to standardize and guide the application of BIM technology in the construction of building engineering projects across the region, to raise the informatization level of the construction industry, and to accelerate the digital transformation and high-quality development of the construction industry, this Department has organized the preparation of the Ningxia Guidelines for the Application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Construction (Trial), which are hereby issued to you for use in your work.

In response to the national requirements for technological upgrading in the construction industry, and in order to promote the industrial modernization of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and to enhance the region's capability in applying BIM technology for the standardization, generalization, integration and informatization of building construction, the Ningxia Guidelines for the Application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Construction (hereinafter referred to as the Guidelines) have been formulated, drawing on current domestic BIM standards and specifications and application experience and summarizing the present status of BIM technology application in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
These Guidelines are proposed and centrally administered by the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
