Against the backdrop of digital and green transformation, on the morning of September 3, the Building Industrialization and Housing Industrialization Promotion Center of the Shanghai Construction Association successfully held the General Membership Meeting and Excellence Commendation Conference at the Jingwei Academic Lecture Hall, and Shanghai Zhuwei Architectural Technology Co., Ltd., as a member unit, participated in this meeting.
This conference was not only an important milestone for the Promotion Center on its path of advancing building industrialization and housing industrialization, but also a recognition of outstanding members of the industry and a showcase of the new leadership team.
The conference opened in a grand and warm atmosphere. This meeting was chaired by Fan Huimin of the Building Industrialization and Housing Industrialization Promotion Center of the Shanghai Construction Association.
Former Deputy Political Commissar of the Shanghai Armed Police Corps and retired military cadre Zhang Changdong delivered a lecture on studying, publicizing, and implementing the guiding principles of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, emphasizing the importance of building industrialization and housing industrialization in the new era.
Representative of the leading member unit of the 2nd Prefabricated Building and Housing Industrialization Promotion Center Tang Xiongwei presented the second-term work report of the Center, summarizing the achievements of the past year and outlining future work directions and goals.
Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Construction Association Li Juanjuan read out the commendation decision; a total of four organizations were awarded the title of Shanghai Prefabricated Building Industry Base.
During the commendation session, many organizations and individuals who had made outstanding contributions in the fields of building industrialization and housing industrialization were honored.For the 5th Shanghai Outstanding Prefabricated Building Enterprises and the 2021-2023 Shanghai Prefabricated Building Demonstration Projects (R&D application and engineering acceptance categories), awards were presented and plaques conferred. These honors are not only a recognition of past achievements but also an encouragement for future work.
In order to adapt to market development and help upgrade the industry, and to enable the Center's expert committee to fully exercise its professional capabilities in leading the industry, upon a unanimous proposal by the expert committee, it was proposed to rename the “Building Industrialization and Housing Industrialization Promotion Center” to the “Smart Construction and Building Industrialization Promotion Center”, which was passed by a unanimous vote.
This marks that the Center will focus more on the development of smart construction technologies and further promote the deep integration of related technologies with emerging technologies and emerging industries.
During the meeting, all members deliberated and adopted the Working Regulations of the Building Industrialization and Housing Industrialization Promotion Center (Expert Committee) and the list of candidates for chairperson, vice-chairpersons, and other positions of the new term of the Center. Vice President of Shanghai Construction Group Co., Ltd. Tang Xiongwei was elected as chairperson of the third term of the Center, and Vice President of Shanghai Jingwei Chen Tiefeng was elected as vice-chairperson of the third term of the Center.
Party Branch Secretary and Honorary President of the Shanghai Construction Association Huang Jianzhi unveiled the plaque of the new-term Smart Construction and Building Industrialization Promotion Center of the Shanghai Construction Association, marking that the Center's work has entered a new stage.
In his subsequent speech, Mr. Huang Jianzhi stated that the successful convening of this conference not only demonstrated the positive role of the Building Industrialization and Housing Industrialization Promotion Center of the Shanghai Construction Association in promoting industry development and recognizing outstanding achievements, but also pointed the way for the future development of the industry and injected new momentum.
