To advance the construction of utility tunnels in our city and improve the information model standards for utility tunnel engineering, our bureau has organized relevant organizations to compile the Shenzhen Standard for Construction Application and Delivery of Information Models for Utility Tunnel Engineering (Draft for Comments) (see attachment), and now solicits comments and suggestions from the public. Organizations or individuals with comments and suggestions should submit them online before 18:00 on November 22, 2024 through the "Interactive Exchange - Public Opinion Collection - Collection Topics" column of the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Housing and Construction portal (online feedback address: https://zjj.sz.gov.cn/hdjlpt/yjzj/answer/39753).

Scope of Application
This standard is formulated in order to standardize and guide the construction application and delivery of information models for utility tunnel engineering, build digital engineering assets, and develop a digital twin smart city. This standard applies to the construction application and delivery of information models for newly built, rebuilt and expanded utility tunnel engineering projects in Shenzhen.

To implement the spirit of the Notice of the State Council on Issuing the Plan for Deepening the Reform of Standardization Work and of relevant documents of the General Office of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and in accordance with the requirements of the Notice on Issuing the First Batch of 2023 Association Standard Formulation and Revision Plans of the China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization (Jian Biao Xie Zi [2023] No. 10), the BIMLink (Sichuan BIMLink Architectural Technology Co., Ltd.) and Chuankan Group (Sichuan Provincial Institute of Geological Engineering Investigation Group Co., Ltd.), as lead editors and together with CSCEC Second Bureau Third Engineering Co., Ltd., Nanjing Coulomb Software, China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group, Chengdu University of Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University and several other organizations, jointly applied for the CECS group standard Delivery Standard for Geotechnical Investigation Information Models. The standard has now passed the review of the China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization and been approved for project initiation, and the related compilation work will start soon.
To carefully carry out the compilation of the standard and truly ensure its advanced nature, applicability, rationality and scientific rigor, the lead compiling organizations will work together with well-known enterprises in the industry to complete the compilation.
