On March 21, the “Expert Training on the Guangzhou Smart Construction Project Evaluation Guidelines (Version 1.0),” organized by the Guangzhou Smart Construction and Industrialized Building Association, was successfully held via Tencent Meeting video conference. A total of 155 “modular building and prefabricated interior fit-out” experts and “prefabricated building” experts from the Guangzhou Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau gathered online, immersively participating in the training to jointly enhance their professional performance capabilities.
At the start of the training, Zhou Zhenyong, Party Branch Secretary and Deputy Secretary-General of the Guangzhou Smart Construction and Industrialized Building Association, delivered the opening mobilization and training briefing, clarifying the core objectives and significance of this training. Two experts who were deeply involved in compiling the Guangzhou Smart Construction Project Evaluation Guidelines (Version 1.0) were specially invited to teach.
To ensure the effectiveness of the training, a full-process closed-loop attendance mechanism was established, adopting a management model of “signing in on first login, random QR-code attendance checks during the process, and signing out at the end of the study.” Participating experts were required to stay online throughout, effectively ensuring the continuity and focus of learning and delivering real training quality.
During the special lecture sessions, the two experts, drawing on policy requirements and practical experience, delivered substantive and engaging presentations:
Li Bing, Deputy Director of the Digital Intelligence Center of China Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau,introduced the overall framework of the Guangzhou Smart Construction Project Evaluation Guidelines (Version 1.0) and gave a detailed explanation and training on the smart construction evaluation content for projects.

Wang Yi of Guangzhou Pearl River Design Group Co., Ltd.gave an in-depth explanation of the digital design evaluation section of the Guangzhou Smart Construction Project Evaluation Guidelines, covering design resources, conditions and methods, design implementation, design deliverables, and additional digital design items.

With the successful conclusion of this training, the participating experts, through systematic and in-depth study, gained a more comprehensive and profound understanding of the Guangzhou Smart Construction Project Evaluation Guidelines (Version 1.0), preparing for subsequent project evaluation work, further standardizing workflows such as expert review and technical guidance, giving full play to the intellectual support role of experts, and promoting the sustained and healthy development of Guangzhou’s prefabricated building industry. At the same time, this training also built a good exchange platform for Guangzhou’s smart construction field, promoting knowledge sharing and experience exchange among experts and injecting new vitality into the industry’s continued innovation and development.
